You know how if you go to the gym regularly, you generally know how many kilometers per hour to set the treadmill to?
You know when the person who uses it before you sets the machine to miles per hour and you don't realise?
All I am saying is that my little seamonkey legs can move much faster than I ever thought possible.

Hehehe, classic! My bike has miles, sure I can change it somehow but now I just rely on the calorie count instead... which sucks bigtime, and makes me not want to eat anything ever again, lol.
Ha ha...I'm laughing at the visual.
And you've only been living there 5 years.
Are you the one going down the M6 at 70KPH instead of 70MPH???
That's hilarious!
rox: oh no ignore that calorie counter thing, how accurate can it be?
kitty cat: at least I didn't fall on my face like some people do!
6000: I will have you know that while we drive in miles, I run in kilometers. It is what I know from school.
ches: Could have been disastrous!
LOL! I don't know the situation as my gym consists of walking the dog... then again, his legs can go faster than I ever imagined...
ladyfi: the mental image I have is of the luggage from Terry Pratchett books, with all those litle legs.
Oh funny, how frustrating :)) you must have had a Homer Simpson's Dooh moment of realisation :))
medio pomelo: exactly! but in fast motion. And I grabbed onto the bar in front.
I've never figured out the concept of running in place anyway. Why not run on the ground? It always lets you pick your own pace. And the scenery is more intersting.
doug: good question. Because the UK is freezing and I don't like to go outside?
Ahh miles - how I miss them!
ping: you miss miles?? You can have them! They make no sense to me. Who still uses miles ;)
Never mind when people start talking about stones.
The worst one for me was arriving in a new country and putting in my weight, and having the machine respond, "Upper limit of weight exceeded. Weight must be under 150."
I was thinking in pounds, the machine thought I was talking kg! Arg!
