Missing.

I need help! One times somewhat fruit loopy seamonkey has gone missing! Please help me find her.

Seriously, I think I have gone missing. Well, the interesting part of me anyway, the part that is full of life and whackiness, the part that I like to think of as the real me. I think I have been putting on my professional, serious, "I don't swear or make facetious remarks or imitate cartoon characters or do handstands in the lab because I am surrounded by world class scientists who are on a different planet to me" face for so long now that I have buried my "me" face somewhere too deep to retrieve. Somewhere behind my left kidney perhaps?

Nooooooo. I used to use my blog as the place where I could let the real me out for a walk, but now she is gone! I want her back.

I will give a reward of a secret nature to anyone who finds her, or at least a clue to where she is hiding.

A clue: wherever she is she is probably doing handspins and Cartman imitations.

she is with nani.
if you find him, you will be doing push to handstand, lamp post flagging or dying your hair green in about 10 seconds flat.

why you hiding?

I know how you feel. What you need is a group of people who are as crazy as you normally should be and they will force the old you out. Trust me.

I just normally avoid the people in my life who make me feel like I can't be myself... because for me its normally other people's fault.

Maybe that's it. The people who are around you now just really really bore you

Harass Miss Serious Face. Do something ridiculous/fun/scary once a day. Sooner or later Miss Serious Face will run of in fright and allow the real you to come back.

I dare you to do a handstand in the lab (preferably not near anything radioactive or flammable). I'm sure that will lure the Sea Monkey out. Although I'm pretty sure I caught a glimpse of her in this post.

Ches: behind the clock. Ok, writing that down, will go check, who is nanny? Does she live near the UK?? :)

Pureslab: Nani is guarunteed to bring out the seamonkey! Damn I wish he was nearbye instead of living he climbing bum dream far far away. He really is good at being fun :)

Gillian: good question, it is my own fault for burying myself too deep!

Paula: that is so true! But I don't have any whacky friends any more! They have all left the country or the area, leaving me alone in my sanity. So boring.

Damaria: hehe. I think I may have fogotten how. I hope I remember soon.

Tamara: DARE!? Oh no. I did handstands in my previous lab, but they were not a very serious bunch. We were all a bit loopy there. But hee they re very serious. I think I would cause too much consternation. But tempting. The lab does get quite quiet...

Paula is onto something, even Islamic Sufism teaches that you become like the people you spend the most time with.

It's natural. So just spend more time with the people you want to be like.

In fact you could even ask yourself if the old Po was the REAL Po or just some placeholder created by a set of temporaray circumstances...

Just remember, if you are changing, change for the better.

Do that handstand in the lab. Scientists are generally loopy, otherwise they'd be out in the real world... They just hide it well sometimes.
Alternatively, come and live in our lab! We're all nuts, and we have sunshine!

EEbEE: I can't find people I want to be like at the mo cos I am surrounded by serious people. Well, they are lovely people. But very serious. Or maybe it is just me, I think they are serious, so I adapt to be serious.... oh frik. I dunno.

Helen: I want to be in your lab with the adorable rodents! Is it too late for me to become a zoology technician?

think she's hiding in this post!

She's obviously hiding inside you, cozied down under blankets, nice and warm, ready to come out in the warmer weather...

In order to find her, you have to do loopy handstands in the lab in your white coat! ;-)

I have gone missing before too - I always come back though....even if it stakes a small search party and a few missing posters ;)

sonnyvsdan: ooh will look there, thanks!

Ladyfi: I nearly did a handstand in the lab today. It was completely empty for a few minutes. But I chickened out. I felt the EYES OF THE LAB on me, the serious eyes, and I wussed out. But maybe next time.

Spear: me too. I am practising bringing her out on the boyfriend. Maybe she will return.

BB:hehe I never thought of missing posters, nice idea.

don't be serious like them. if it's anything like my office, they're all being serious because they think everyone else is. if they see a seamonkey spindrift by they might snap out of it!
