What is success?

After many hours of introspection, I came up with this:

success= A successful attempt at succeeding.

A little tautological I feel? And like most mental concepts that can only be explained by tautology, it seems we have made up a word for a concept that is purely subjective and in the eye of the beholder. It appears that the word "success" is empty of meaning. So I conclude, success is meaningless.

SWEEET.

Sorry... can't resist it.

If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

Boz, that is very philosophical.

But after much thought, I think the answer is:

You have failed. So you have therefore succeeded.

Oh my word that is confusing! I like it.
